Just 4 km outside Alleghe, Caprile's Hotel Alla Posta is a 19th-century post house listed in Italy's historic places. The hotel features a traditional restaurant, and an indoor pool, Turkish bath and hot tub. Part of the Dolomiti Superski area, the hotel is 10 km from the Marmolada ski slopes and has a free winter bus to the Civetta ski slopes, only 4 km away. Guests can fish in the Cordevole River 50 metres away and Lake Alleghe 4 km away. Rooms at Hotel Alla Posta have a classic design and carpeted floors. Each one has a minibar and a TV. Some rooms have a balcony. Il Postin restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and has featured in prestigious food guides. The bar with patisserie is mentioned in the Gambero Rosso guide.
