Commitment to excellent hospitality has earned The Limes 4 stars and a Silver Award for guest accommodation. This family-run, Victorian house offers an award-winning breakfast and is a pleasant riverside walk from York city centre. The freshly cooked breakfast uses locally sourced produce, served in the elegant dining room. The Limes is also licensed to serve alcohol. Guests can also relax on comfy sofas, watch the lounge’s TV or listen to music. Each room at The Limes has an en suite shower room with heated towel rail, fluffy towels and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Rooms also have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview and an iPod docking station. A welcome tray in each room includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sweets and raisins.
