The Sheldon is located along a quiet side street in the centre of Eastbourne. With free onsite parking (a maximum height of 1.9 metres) guests can walk to all main attractions. All rooms benefit from free WiFi. The Sheldon has arranged discounts with local shops and restaurants and breakfast is served in the hotel's own feature dining room 8:00 to 9.30. All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilities, a refreshment tray, Au-Lait toiletries and satellite TV. All bedding is low allergy. The Sheldon does not have a bar or serve evening meals.

Please note standard and superior double/twin rooms only are suitable for a child's cot (aged 0 to 2 years). Superior family rooms have a double sofa bed for the children, of which age 12 is the maximum age for use of sofa bed. Please note, there are 11 steps to enter the property, which may prove unsuitable for those with limited mobility. There is a lift that takes guests to floor 1 and floor 2. The property does not provide evening meals or has a bar but arranged discounts at local eateries are available instead. The car park is only suitable for vehicles up to 6' 2" (190cm) high, up to 2 taller vehicles can be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Others will be required to park on the street at the driver's expense. The Sheldon can provide child-safe covers for electrical sockets. Please request at the time of booking. Late check-out is not available at this property. The Sheldon is unable to accept students or guests referred by DSS (Department of Social Security).
