Situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, YHA Grinton Lodge features many nearby hiking routes and mountain biking paths. Traditional limestone barns and wildflower meadows can be seen in the surrounding area. Free private parking is also on offer. An on-site restaurant, garden and shop are available for all Grinton Lodge guests to use, as well as a games room, library and BBQ facilities. Guests can also relax in the TV lounge or make use of the camping facilities available. The historic market town of Richmond is only 10 miles away and features an 11th-century castle and the Georgian Theatre Royal. Shops, restaurants and cafés are also on offer.

All guests must show a valid photo ID upon check-in. Driver’s license, passport, student ID or similarly recognised national identity cards are accepted. Group bookings: All bookings for 17 people or more cannot be accepted by YHA. Please note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can hire them at the property or bring their own. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. Please note this property does not charge an additional temporary membership fee. Discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or IYHF as part of this booking. Please note that bedding is not provided in the Pods and you should bring your own sleeping and camping equipment.
