Located just 200 metres from 5th avenue in central Playa del Carmen, The Yak Hostel offers free continental breakfast and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy a courtyard, a rooftop terrace and hammocks. The Yak Hostel offers shared dorms and private rooms, all including bathrooms with showers. The rooms are simply decorated in light colours. The Yak also offers luggage storage, barbecue facilities and a book exchange. Mojito lessons, BBQ nights and tour arrangements are also an option. The popular Coco Bongo night club and lively 5th Avenue are only a block away from The Yak. This street is home to Playa del Carmen's most popular restaurants, bars and nightlife. The beachfront is only 300 metres from the property and a supermarket can be found within 5 minutes’ walk. The ADO first class station is only 1 block away, while the ADO Bus Station is 4 minutes’ drive away. Cancun is 1 hour’s drive away.
