Situated less than a mile from the Cumbrian coast, Grovewood House features free on-site parking and is just 15 minutes’ drive to the edge of the Lake District National Park which offers a wide array of outdoor activities. A king-size bed, flat-screen TV with DVD player and free Wi-Fi are provided in the Grovewood House room, as well as a kitchenette with kettle, fridge and dining area. A whirlpool bath with underwater lighting and a double shower is featured in the large en suite bathroom. Homemade bread and flapjacks are served at breakfast, with eggs, croissants and bagels also on offer. Cereal, fresh fruit and porridge are also provided, and all produce is locally sourced. The small coastal town centre of Whitehaven is a 10-minute drive away and features a variety of shops and The Rum Story museum.
