This youth hostel offers low-cost accommodation, a 7-minute drive from Winterberg town centre. Jugendherberge Winterberg is an ideal base for hiking, mountain biking or skiing in the Hochsauerland region. Jugendherberge Winterberg features basic rooms with wooden furniture and lockers. Rooms are available with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms are located in the Sportheim building, located only few metres from the main building. It offers views of the surrounding landscape and a spacious terrace with barbecue facilities and seats for 60 people. A buffet breakfast is served in Winterberg Youth Hostel’s large breakfast room. Guests can relax in the bistro area or lounge, or outside in the barbecue area in summer. A soccer net, play area and climbing wall are also available to guests. Jugendherberge Winterberg is 2 km from Winterberg Bike Park and Winterberg Toboggan Track. Cycling maps, a repair room and storage for skis and bicycles are provided at the youth hostel. Parking is free at Jugendherberge Winterberg. Bicycle transfers can be arranged from Winterberg Train Station, 5.5 km away.

Guests staying at the Jugendherberge Winterberg must be a member of the Deutschen Jugendherbergswerk or the Youth Hostel Association. Free temporary membership can be acquired upon arrival at the property.
