Hotel Hortus provides budget accommodations featuring non-smoking rooms for up to 6 people, located in the east side of the City Center, behind the Botanical Gardens. The rooms are basic and equipped with a TV, a safe, free WiFi and include towels and bed linen. Toilets are in the hallway and all rooms are accessible by stairs. Breakfast is included and in the lounge, where guests can enjoy free coffee and tea all day or watch movies on the big screen TV. Guests will have 24 hour access to the hotel and can come and go as they please. Guests can walk to the zoo, The Hermitage Museum, Waterloo Square and the Red Light District, all within 10 minutes. Tram 9 and 14 stop near the hotel and provide convenient service to other areas of the city.

Non-refundable rates will be charged at the time of booking using the credit card details provided. Please be aware of the dates you are trying to book. If you book the wrong dates with the non-refundable rate, you will only be allowed to change the dates to come at a later time. For all other rates, payment is required in cash upon arrival. All rooms are non-smoking. However, there is a designated smoking area. Wifi is free and available throughout the building. There is no elevator in the building and the stairs are steep. All toilets are in the hallways. Towels are free. Hairdryers are a EUR 20,00 deposit and both are available from reception. Breakfast is between 08:00 - 10:00 and consists of two kinds of cereal, scrambled eggs, assorted lunch meats, such as salami, ham, turkey or chicken slices. Toast with various spreads, such as peanut butter, two kinds of jam, chocolate spread, honey, and butter. Coffee and tea are available until 23:00. The kitchen, microwave, fridge, plates and silverware are available and must be cleaned after use. There is no laundry service. Children up to 3 years old can stay for free. Older children are counted as adults.
