One of Eastbourne’s original old ‘sea houses’, the dog-friendly Royal has recently undergone a complete renovation to provide comfortable, modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi throughout and flat-screen TVs. The building’s original features have been retained. Bathrooms feature heated towel rails, shaver points, fluffy white towels and complimentary Duck Island toiletries. Start each day with a healthy, fresh breakfast in the airy breakfast room. Choose from real ground coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a selection of organic yoghurts, cereals, homemade breads and jams. No English breakfasts are served. Soya milk is available.

Discounted parking is available nearby, but you must obtain a voucher from the hotel. The hotel's rooms are spread over 3 floors and no lift is available. Dogs are welcome at The Royal and stay free of charge. Access is limited to one dog per room, possibly two. Please contact the property in advance if you have more than two dogs.
