Located only 250 metres from Bergen Station, Marken Guesthouse provides basic hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a shared kitchen. Bergen’s famous Fish Market is a 5-minute walk away. Marken’s modern and bright rooms have wooden floors, lockable wardrobes and a writing desk. Bathroom facilities are either private or shared. A refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee maker can be accessed in the shared kitchen. Laundry facilities are also available. Only 5 minutes’ walk away is the medieval harbour area, Bryggen, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Staff will gladly recommend nearby restaurants, shops and sights to see.

Guests can rent towels on site or choose to bring their own. Bed linen are included and guests need to make their own bed. Sleeping bags are not permitted. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in if travelling as part of a family or with an adult. Guests must be 18 years or older to stay in the dormitory rooms. Check-in hours are as follows: From 1 May until 30 September: 14:00-23:00 From 1 October until 30 April: 14:00-16:30 Guests arriving outside these hours are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance.
