Situated on Fjellvær Island, at the mouth of the Trondheim Fjord, this property offers cottages and rooms with fjord views. Facilities include a restaurant and pub. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Fjellvær Gjestegård’s cottages feature a fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower. All include a TV and a seating area with sofa. The simple yet comfortable guest rooms have shared toilets and showers. Guests can relax with a book in the Gjestegård’s library. A playground and a small shop selling drinks, snacks and toiletries are also available. Bicycles and boats can be rented on site. Staff can help arrange hiking, fishing and other recreation. The Coastal Express Ferry stops at Sandstad, on the neighbouring Hitra Island, about 40 minutes’ drive from Gjestegård Fjellvær. The ferry ride from Sandstad to Trondheim takes about 90 minutes.
