Situated across the road from Buffalo Beach, Whitianga Campground features a variety of accommodation with free onsite parking. Guests enjoy a shared kitchen and dining area, a children’s playground and a BBQ area. Set between a river and native bush, Whitianga Campground is just a 2-minute drive from Whitianga town centre. Accommodation options include studios with a kitchenette and self-contained chalets with a fully equipped kitchen. All accommodation includes a TV and seating area. Some accommodation offers a private bathroom. Whitianga Campgrounds facilities include an internet kiosk, a shared kitchen and a guest laundry. There is a boat parking area and kayaks can be launched directly into the river, which connects to Whitianga Harbour.

Please note that, for security purposes, the front gate to the property is locked at 22:00 and unlocked at 07:00 each day. Please note reception hours are 09:00 until 20:00. If you expect to arrive outside these hours, please inform Whitianga Campground in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that guests must bring the hard copy of their reservation confirmation with them. Mobile confirmation is not accepted. Please note that Whitianga Campground requires a NZD 100 bond on arrival for group bookings of more than 3 rooms. For bookings over the Christmas and New Year's period, 25 December and 31 December, all guests must be over the age of 21 and there is a bond of 1 night's stay. Please note that satellite channels are only available to guests with a 'MySky' card. Please note that pets are strictly not permitted inside the cabins under any circumstances.
