At the foot of the Bavarian Alps, this youth hostel features a large sports field and free Wi-Fi in communal areas. Ottobeuren Abbey and the town centre are a 10-minute walk away. The modern Jugendherberge Ottobeuren has simple rooms and dormitories with heating and bunk beds. Shared bathrooms can be found in the hallway. Breakfast buffets, hot lunches and cold evening buffets can be enjoyed in the large dining hall. A snacks vending machine is available, and packed lunches can be prepared for your day trips. The Jugendherberge’s kitchen and outdoor barbecue can be used by all guests. Active guests will enjoy the 2 outdoor table tennis tables and the billiards room. Ottobeuren is a great base for exploring the Günz Valley and the beautiful Allgäu countryside. The A7 motorway is 10 minutes away, providing access to Kempten in 25 minutes.

Please note that all guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation). Membership is available at reception on arrival. It costs EUR 7 per year for guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 22,50 for families. Guests aged 27 or more will have to pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.
