Set in the Emilia-Romagna countryside, Agriturismo La Dondina is just otuside the town of Budrio. This interesting property was a noble residence in the 1200s and then became a farm in the 1700s. La Dondina is still a working farm that produces organic fruit and vegetables. All rooms have a rustic design with wood-beamed ceilings and colourful walls. They all feature an LCD TV with satellite channels, a fridge and kettle. Horse riding is available on site and free parking is also provided. Local attractions include the medieval castle and museums of Budrio. Bologna city centre is 20 minutes' drive away.
