Offering both shared and private accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a non-smoking environment, Anne Hostel is a 5-minute walk from Asakusabashi Train/Subway Station. A simple toast-and-tea breakfast is served, and there is a free-use kitchen. All rooms are air-conditioned, and guests sleep in either a bunk bed or Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Each floor has a shared shower, and there is a shared bathtub on the 4th floor. Soap and shampoo are provided, and towels can be rented. The Asakusa area, with Kaminarimon Thunder Gate and Senso-ji Temple, is a 15-minute walk away. Nearby Asakusabashi Station is just 1 train stop from Akihabara to the west and Ryogoku’s national sumo stadium to the east. A traditional leg-warming heated table keeps the lounge area cosy in cold weather, and guests gather there year-round to watch DVDs, check the guides and maps and swap stories. Free-use internet PCs are available. Breakfast is served at the lounge from 07:00-10:00 and consists of coffee & English tea, boiled eggs and toast. The free-use kitchen includes a microwave, IC stove, rice cooker and fridge.
