Westhaven Retreat offers luxury accommodation and access to a private beach and several activities throughout the remote Golden Bay Region. Guests enjoy a 24 meter indoor swimming pool, a hydrotherapy spa and a cleansing infrared sauna. Naturally blending into the surrounding environment, Westhaven Retreat Lodge features exposed New Zealand timbers, soft colour schemes and views over the Tasman Sea. Guests can choose between rooms with a private veranda, suites offering a 2-person spa bath and a 2-bedroom cottage. Each has an en suite marble bathroom with a heated floor, jet showers, heated towel rails, bathrobes and slippers. All rooms offer water views and free plunger tea/coffee. Rooms with included gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner are also available. There is a large library in the loft where guests can relax with a book. The outdoor sun terrace is partly covered by a glass roof. The tour desk offers guided fishing, hiking and kayaking tours, as well as trips to Farewell Spit and Cape Farewell horse trekking.
