Situated in the heart of Eastbourne, The Berkeley is a 3-storey Victorian guest house, just a 2-minute stroll from the beach and the Eastbourne Conference Centre. Rooms at The Berkeley Guest House are elegantly designed and all feature an en suite bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. They are also equipped with a TV with satellite channels and tea and coffee making facilities. Ironing facilities can be requested from reception. Guests will find a range of restaurants and cafes within walking distance to choose from. Eastbourne Rail Station is a 10-minute walk from the guest house and there are a number of theatres no more than 200 metres away. Eastbourne town centre and Eastbourne Pier are both less than half a mile from The Berkeley.

The Berkeley cannot accept students or guests referred by a local authority DSS (Department of Social Security). Please note that WiFi is free at The Berkeley however your laptop will need to accept a passcode to work. Rooms on higher floors occasionally suffer from loss of signal. The Berkeley does not accept American Express cards as payment, or to guarantee a booking. Guests can park in the street around the building with the use of a special visitor permit, chargeable upon arrival. If you plan on arriving after 19:00, please inform the property in advance by using the contact details on the booking confirmation. There is a minimum charge of GBP 20 for check-in after 19.00. Late check-out can be arranged upon booking only. Please use the Special Request Box to arrange it. Please note unless you receive an email back then the property has not received your request. Please note that there are 8 steps to enter the property and 13 steps down to the dining room and the property does not have a lift. Please call the property directly should you wish a lower floor due to limited mobility (subject to availability).
